LIKE MANY, I HAD TO GIVE UP SALT, AND MY WORLD WENT BLAND
By Tom Snow, creator of Nature's Golden FireTM
Two and a half years ago, I had CHF [congestive heart failure]. I was told to give up salt. I, like many, was told by my doctors IF I wanted to continue living, I'd need to learn to live with less than 2,000mg of Sodium, in total, daily.
Maybe that doesn't sound bad to you until you find out that 1 teaspoon of salt is 2,300mg of sodium—which is way too much.
But remember: there's a lot of Sodium in most everything.
- If we eat almost any prepared food—too much Sodium!
- If we use any spice, that's a mixture, not pure—too much Sodium!
- Try reading the labels on most any prepared product—too much Sodium!

- Try adding up all we eat in each meal without adding in 1mg of salt—whether meats [prepared in any way or not], breads, pastas, sauces, condiments, cheeses, eggs, milk, yogurt, and even some veggies—too much Sodium!
- We can hardly go out to eat any more—add up the Sodium—too much Sodium!
Most people don't just eat a teaspoon of salt by itself. Yet we eat too much Sodium in everything! Every day!

A few comments from users:
COMMENTS FROM REGULAR SALT-BASED HOT SAUCE USERS:
"My wife, daughter and I all tried Mild and Medium last night. I really liked them both. Taste is good and to me, heat not bad at all. My wife liked the taste. Was surprised hearing "hot sauce" but then tasting the sweetness. The name threw her, but she DID like the taste. Heat for her was a small bit higher in the Mild than she thought it might be. She didn't try the Medium - she doesn't really like too much heat. But she thought the Mild could be a little less (for her). My daughter didn't really have an opinion. She said she liked it okay. She didn't hate it, but it was okay. But she's a 20-year-old girl. " [from a regular salt-eating family who normally would use Fr**k's R*d H*t or other regular salt-based condiment sauces]
